Subject: Bad Trans axel. Thank you!!
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Thank you everybody for responding to my problem. I pulled the propeller shaft on my syncro and sure enough the grinding was gone. My mechanic was wrong! But it happens. He has gladly offered to reinspect for further diagnosis. That leads to the next question. VC(probably) or front axel (pinoin etc.). How will he be able to figure out the exact cause without "guessing the most likely". He already almost had me spending big $$$ on a trans so I want to be educated and sure. Again you all have been a great help both mechanically and now financially! For now the propeller shaft will stay out. I have read in the archives this is ok.?. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
