Hello all,
 As many of you know I was building a hidden type trailer hitch for the
Vanagons. Well I got the prototype complete the day before my Vanagon was
rearended. The hitch helped save the van from worse damage, but the hitch is
now bent. It is not worth taking picture of it now. I will be building another
hitch and it will be an improved design. My first was good, the second one will
be great. I will make them bolt on, not welded to the brackets, and the
reciever will sit lower so no cutting of the impact strip will be needed. So
sorry for the delay. I do not know if the new improved type will be finished
before the spring meet or not, I have a lot of work to do to the van caused by
the crash. BTW, I found out that the van can be saved. A local Body shop is
willing to do all of the frame pulling and let me do the rest, this way I can
save it for less than the amount of money I get from the settlement.
