David, Go to the junkyard and get one out of an 80's Audi 5000. Makes a nice chime sound, instead of the annoying buzz of the VW's, and plugs right in. While you're there, get the courtesy light out of the front center ceiling location, it's a snap in replacement for the Vanagon one, but looks better, with snazzy black trim. Larry
