Hi all,

Well, last Friday we pushed the '84 (with an '88 nose) out of the garage, turned it around and pushed it nose to the garage door. It is oficially outside! Today I flushed and bled the clutch and brake lines. Tomorrow I install (?) coolant, do the final electrical hookup under the dashboard (now THERE is another part of the forest!), toss in a couple of litres of gas, hookup the battery and start her up. Once that happens, I get one days' insurance, take her down to AirCare and then get plates!

At that time, it is SUMMERTIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Paint can wait for a few days; as my neighbour Al says, "with that paint job you have now, ain;t NOBODY gonna even THINK about stealing that bus!", which is kind of the same anti-theft device I have on my '82 SuperBeetle... along with rust <G>

Thanks to all for the assistance along the way.

Derek in Vancouver, BC <><
