That's probably because all the folks who call themselves VW-fanatics will
start whining, palpitating, cursing, and cancelling their subscriptions if
the magazine will show a water-cooled VW on the cover.  Unless it's a New
Beetle, and they caught enough hell for that already.


It's the same people who say they LOVE Volkswagens but won't allow a VW GTI
within 100 yards of their '65 Beetle.  They drive a Honda, or Subaru
instead.


VW Trends is a VW magazine, but not a well-rounded one.


Just my personal 2 cents.
