I have helped a dude up in CT do this to his vanagon. VERY EASY parts you will need:

manual tranny <--incl clutch/pilot bearing/flywheel/etc. manual tranny mount manual tranny cvs/cv half-shafts brake/clutch combo master cylinder booster shift linkage hydraulic line to the rear for clutch

that is all i can think of.. the hardest part was taking the dash off to replace master cylinder boosters

if i am missing anything please add.
