Jennifer, I just thought I'd let you know that Skoda is the Czech company that VW bought out and SEAT is the spanish company that VW bought out. Incidently ,just 2 months ago, I rented a car at Gatwick airport which was a Skoda Fabia turbo diesel. I was skeptical knowing what junk Skodas used to be but this car was great! Smooth, quiet, quick, comfortable and the on-board computer said 52 mpg (imperial)average after driving to Scotland and back at speeds of 85 mph plus most of the time. Amazing! I wish they were for sale here. I think they were voted small car of the year in UK. Steve Cotsford |
