I may have been the person. Having had to come up with my own trouble-shooting guide after finding the Bently guide slightly lacking. (But a good first start) I'd recommend the very first thing you check is that the switches on the brake and clutch pedals actually are working. This is the thing to check if your CC will not engage. Use a test light as my switch looked and sounded like it was working, but was not. Todd '88 Westy
