I had the chance to compare my (Scotland/New England) '84 with an Arizona '84 -- mine has tons of rust but the rubber stuff is in pretty good shape. The other had little to no rust but all the rubber was hard and cracked. I assume you saw Frank's note about U-joint vs rubber coupler. david
