And to think that I nearly bought that POS engine of yours. ;-) I think we've been down this road before, but I'll ask again. What kind of oil are you running? The flickering light most likely does indicate some bearing wear, but if it's flickering at idle immediately after a 70mph run, that's not far off normal. Mine started doing the same, and was cured by switching to 40 weight. I used it for another couple years after that. I use Valvoline Racing oil straight weight in all of my engines. Living in AZ, and using the guide in the owner's manual, 40 weight is right for me in the summer, with 30 in the winter.
