I just talked to a Tire Rack representative trying to buy new tires for my Syncro. They didn't have the model tire that I wanted, so it is back to the phones unless I change models. But, they do have a Mercedes steel wheel, Tire Rack part # R11060, 15x6.5, that has a 5x112 bolt pattern, and a 37 offset. The chart also states CB 66.6, whatever that means? I am sure someone on the list can tell us. Best part is that these wheels are only $40 apiece. I priced some of these wheels via a parts yard and they wanted $100 or more each. Might have been alloys - but I asked for steel. Mark Drillock says these fit right on to the Syncro. They might require a little machining for the 2WD Vanagon. This would make migration to 15" wheels easy and not so expensive for a Syncronaut. Thought I would pass this along. Sam Walters 84 Vanagon 89 Syncro |
