It might surprise you to hear (then again, it might not) that Volkswagen AG owns the Skoda car company -- of Spain. They make some very nice vehicles that are as good as those sold under the VW brand name, but they cost less!

The box for the European headlight switch that I added to my Golf this weekend had the VW, Audi, Skoda, and (if I remember right) SEAT logos on it.
