Subject: Lighting the fridge -- my experience
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

The previous owner of my 1982 Westfalia informed me when I purchased the vehicle that the fridge would not light. When I unscrewed the drain pipe located at the bottom of the front of the fridge, an avalanche of rust came pouring out. I connected the 12V power air pump I had received for Christmas and blew the debris up and out of the drain pipe. I think (and hope) the debris all exited the external flue vent. The fridge lit up right away and has worked flawlessly since.
