That's just it.... I'm using the VDO 12" adapter. But since the long rubber hose runs as far as I could get it from the exhaust pipes, which isn't far enough in my mind. I am concerned that this is compromising the pressure put to the sender. I'm not sure if that makes any sense, but I'm looking for reasons other that the engine for a show of low oil pressure. It seems too coincidental that the engine started showing low oilpressure with the installation of a gauge. Because, as I stated before, I never had the oil pressure light that wasn't the caused by a short in the wiring. I drove it a lot during the summer (long drives) and there wasn't any show of oil pressure. any thoughts welcome. If I ever get around to it, I'm going to a different sender set-up. B
