Very true, check this one out: One of the bigger shockers I've noticed on several VWs of 80's vintage is the a/c condensor (the a/c 'radiator' that sits in front of the regular radiator) on my Vanagon and both my Quantums were made in Japan!! Isn't there a law against that? Perhaps even a law of nature??
