My 1988 Syncro came with an aluminium canopy - quite a nice one too - although it is not a factory canopy. There are three styles of canvas canopies - cab height (very rare), 1' above the cab (have lots of these) and 3' above the cab (you don't want this!). I have also seen some nice, probably one of a kind fibreglass canopies in Europe.

Hello List, I am considering getting a double cab when my lease expires on my GMC truck next year. My question is, is there a shell/cap available in North America for the double-cab? I have seen the canvas covers and they will not suit my needs. Any info on this would be appreciated. Plus if anyone wants a good low mileage GMC truck, my payoff is a lot less than low blue book on it and I could make a deal any time before Nov 2002. TIA, Loretta 87 Syncro 90 GL 98 GMC Sierra
