I ran four speaker wires from the Sony CD unit to a set of spring clip speaker "jacks" under the rear seat. I have two Sony bookshelf speakers with enough wire that I can move them around (point out the door if I like). Sounds pretty good to me. Easy to stow under the seat if necessary for security. The jacks are mounted on top of the heater box, so they don't get beat up too much.

This talk of upgrading the front speakers got me thinking about asking what others have done in the rear. I've been thinking about what I wanted to do to improve the sound in my van and I've decided a descent set of rear speakers would be a great thing. But, where to mount them? I want bigger speakers then the stock 4 or 5" ones that came from the factory. Anybody have a setup that worked out well? Thanks, Dave K.
