After reading Phaedra's post I ventured over and checked them out.   Was told they are made by michelin,
and each had a load rating (class C) of 1432 lb/tire (X4 = 5728).  These tires have the same load rating
as the Michelin LTX.  The Michelin Agilis 61 (what Michelin offers for the Vanagon) has a load rating
(class C) of 1750 lb/tire.  Checking the door jam of my syncro, the GVW is 5512, with a distribution
of 2866 front and 3042 rear.  So in the rear on my van these tires would be a little light.
Check your van Phaedra to see how these numbers jive.

I'm a little puzzed since the Kirkland is a 6 ply, and the Agilis is a 4 ply with reinforcing.
Not sure if the 93/90 appearing on the tire is Load Index or not.
