Just thought I would share with the group some products that I find really effective.

1 Goo-Gone This is a citrus based cleaner/solvent. It is a safe product that will also get rid of dealer sticker residue. It even gets rid of price labels on Tupperware! Smells good too.

2 Castrol super cleaner. This is one of those very strong purple cleaners but this one states that it is bio-degradeable. I would use it to clean a tranny as it is much stronger than simple green. You cant let it sit for long or it will take paint off, particularly old oxidised paint. I used it on my luggage rack when I had it off to replace the seal. I also use it on nasty windshields that the wipers wont get clean, just streak. I use it on alloy wheels too but I dont let it sit for more than a minute.

3 Rain-ex This is advertised for windshields but I dont like it for that as it creates a lot of tiny beads of water when the wipers are used. However I use it on all the other windows and it does an amazing job of getting the rain to run off and makes visibility much better. I use their windshield washer fluid too as it works better than many.

4 Rid-Ox Once again I have to plug this stuff as being really good for all contacts, lights, ECU's etc on our aging vehicles. Good stuff!

Hope everyone is having a great friday! Steve Cotsford
