Depends on how dirty it is. If the case is really really dirty then you may want to bring it to one of those steam cleaners - the type where you drive into the stall and feed quarters into the machine- used for cleaning the underside of your rig. I've used that for really dirty cases and other car parts that reside underside the rig.

But if it just grimmy but not a total mess, then try simple green. Spray it on, let it sit for 10 minutes and hose it of. Repeat a few times. That is what i've done to everything greese from my bicycle to myself after crawling through bone yards all day.
