Joe - The Temp II sensor on my digitool is running about .10 to .09 when the engine is fully warmed up, temperature gauge right on the LED. Mike Finkbiner '87 Westy Moscow, Idaho Date: Mon, 30 Apr 2001 19:20:35 -0400 From: Helen Fahy <72510.1173@compuserve.com> Subject: Temp II voltages I made an ersatz version of Darrell Boehler's Digitool. <SNIP> The archives have listed 2 different acceptable ranges for the Temp II sensor voltage at normal operating temperature. The first was 0.1 to 0.2 volts and the second range was 0.3 to 0.4 volts. Not very much difference. My Temp II is rock steady at 0.4 volts, with an indicated temperature 1 needle blade width below the LED, and I can see the O2 sensor voltage oscillating about 0.6 volts. Are these two conditions sufficient to say that the ecu is in closed loop operation and that the engine is at normal operating temperature? <SNIP> _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com |
