I was told by a pretty reliable source that the material used on the fiber block which follows the distributor cam is made in Brazil or Mexico, even though the box says German. This material is so substandard that the block wears down prematurely and changes thepoint gap and timing of the motor. I ended up switching to the Pertronix Ignitor (magnet-pickup) on my squarebacks and 914's in order to keep the cars in tune for longer. So, even though it says German, you might not be gettingwhat you think!
