I made an ersatz version of Darrell Boehler's Digitool.  Darrell was
charging $100 as of a few weeks ago.  This is so cheap!  His tool should be
more like $2-300 for all the work it takes!  Do not forget that after you
build it you still have to recheck your work prior to powering up the
system.  I will not divulge how long I took to make my version!  If I had to
do it over again, I would not.  I would ask Darrell verrrrry nicely if he
would sell me one, Please!!!

Now the question part .

The archives have listed 2 different acceptable ranges for the Temp II
sensor voltage at normal operating temperature.  The first was 0.1 to 0.2
volts and the second range was 0.3 to 0.4 volts.  Not very much difference.

My Temp II is rock steady at 0.4 volts, with an indicated temperature 1
needle blade width below the LED,  and I can see the O2 sensor voltage
oscillating about 0.6 volts.

Are these two conditions sufficient to say that the ecu is in closed loop
operation and that the engine is at normal operating temperature?

I believe that the system is in closed loop operation, but I am not sure at
what Temp II voltage the engine management software understands that the
engine is at normal operating temperature.

Any discussion welcomed.
