Dear Folks, It is with great regret that I offer my '86 Westy for sale. Last winter she spent the season in Natick getting a Boston Engine rebuilt engine installed at Greg's Repair Service. Greg went through her from stem to stern. In addition to the new engine, clutch, all coolant hoses, etc, he also managed to find things like, "someone installed backup lights that were too bright." Now that everything is shipshape, I should be driving the wheels off her, but at the beginning of this season (We don't take her out in the snow) I looked at how much use she's been getting, and realized that she needs a home that will allow her to get more exercise. Yes I've been driving her off and on (It's a fourth car, two driver's ) but I've only gone camping 5 times in the last two years. Anyway, the body is a gold color, that is listed as beige on the registration. The interior is brown. She's got 181,000 miles, but is one of the cleanest Westys I've ever seen.I'm asking $9,999 or best offer. It's a deluxe, GL Please respond to yankdriv@neca.com Thanks! Mike Covello 86 Westy |
