Hello to all. I find this list incredibly helpful and well worth the time sorting and deleting.

The old stock antenna broke off, so I bought a new one from Vanagain or Bus Depot -- I forget which. Question is, how do I get the old one out? The cast base of the old one fits into the oval hole in the hood with some kind of Chinese puzzle shapes, and since I never had the patience for those things, I can't seem to get it through. So then I mistakenly dropped the whole thing down into the bodywork.

Any advice on snaking the base back out through the body or down through the dash would be much appreciated.

Ed Carroll
