Subject: Syncro Transmission Core Needed
Comments: cc: Syncro List <Syncro@onelist.com>, Cary Chiang <chiang1@usa.net>

My recent acquisition of a second 86 Syncro has hit a bit of a snag. Investigation of the reason why the granny gear would not engage led to the discovery that the pinion shaft is badly scored and grooved, the granny and ring gears are toast, and several bearings are also shot from all of the metal shavings that have been swimming in the muck.

Therefore, I need a rebuildable transmission core. One with a bad 3/4 gear hub/slider will be acceptable.

I will be traveling next week from Minneapolis to NYC and back, so I can pick up any available parts that are reasonably near that routing. Available transmissions from other locations are also solicited, as they can be shipped UPS.

Please p-mail with any suggestions.

Budd Premack 86 Syncros (1 good, 1 not), 73 Super Minneapolis, MN (Land of Sky-Blue Waters)
