My local used parts guy has a Yakima rack that he is offering for $100. It
came off a Jetta. has the roof clamps and the attached roof bars. There is
also a box with bike mounts. I don't know anything about them nor do I have
any use for it. If anyone is interested I can ask some more questions. I
thought that if the roof gutter clamps will work on the Vanagon, then you
only need longer bars.


The one thing I thought may not work is the clamp system. Afterall, don't
Jettas & Golfs have that rubberized inset raingutter?


Anyway, let me know if anyone wants more info. Please don't ask me if this is
a good deal or not. It sounds expensive to me for a used part.
