Along the lines of the diesel...

We got pulled over once coming back from skiing in my buddy's 1985 Jetta diesel (N.A.) doing oh, I think it was 115 km/h in a 90 zone. When asked why we were going so fast, the driver replied "Officer - it's a Volkswagen diesel. You take all you can get". Apparently what we got was a ticket.

And yes, we were going downhill with a tailwind ;-) But i think the Jetta had a 5 speed as well.

Sorry for the Fridayness. Keith Adams Calgary, AB, CA 86 Westy "Roxy" / 87 Syncro project "Hugh"
