Subject:      Tests before engine swap?
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

I'm getting ready to put a new Boston Bob engine in my '86 Westy. I'm doing all the work myself.

I'm going to test the fuel injectors before I remove the old engine, which is running well. Any advice on other things to test before I pull the engine? Any tests I should do on the new engine before I put it in? I want to eliminate as many variables as possible before putting that new block in. I'm also replacing a lot of other components, mostly cooling and exhaust stuff.

Thanks very much in advance. The List has been a great help to me!
