I bought mine 5 yrs ago with the conversion. It is cheaper to service, but not as efficient. It has a very small leak, because if the van seats for about a week, it looses charge.I live in Puerto Rico, and when the van is hot inside, and it is hot outside, it takes a while to cool down, and when that interval increases it is time to check the a/c. The good thing is you can buy the recharging kit, and the R-134a can, and diy.
