Here in New Zealand all cars are required to have a high-mounted central
brakelight. Used imports (mainly from Japan) don't have these, so they must
be fitted before registration. All car-parts stores here carry
window-mounted items, some cheap & nasty (festoon bulbs), some LED (Hella
Matrix I think is LED).

Surely these things aren't hard to get in USA?
