At 6:21 AM -0500 5/4/01, Mark Ingalls rearranged electrons to say:

While driving my 85 GL in a rain shower with a strong crosswind the driver's wiper would lift away from the windshield enough to not wipe.

I've got a fin on my Golf to prevent this... seems later model cars tend to have it.

But, I admit puzzlement... why is it only the driver's wiper that is affected? I've never seen a vehicle with fins on the passenger wiper as well. --
