Neither. When the seat is folded up, what was the back of the cushion on the pivoting part of the seat is now considerable closer to the floor, but not level to it. In other words, when you fold up the jump seat, you lose a good bit of room under the seat. The pivot point of the seat cushion is about 1/3 of the distance between the rear of the cushion and the front of the cushion. When the seat is folded down, for seating, the cushion is approx. level with the bench seat.

I think this answers your question...

Hi all. Those of you with Weekender rear seats that fold down - when folded, is the seat level with the rear floor of the bus, or it is raised up and level with the cushion that was available? Thanks!

Chris
