Hi Adam,

I had this problem too. Took off the outside vent and carefully put it back together, resealing any gasketed areas by adding silicone transparent sealer to the gaskets. The idea is that combustion air should come in only from the air intake hole (the one off center), and not through any cracks or badly sealed gaskets contributing to the intake, thus blowing out your flame. Phew, pardon the length of the sentence. Went on a two week trip and flame did not blow out once. Tray even made ice.
