Don't do it...great stuff for sealing off crimp connections from salt air and such, but the thought of having to clean that stuff off a bolted connection makes me cringe. It's just liquid vinyl, similar if not identical to the dip for tool handles and the stuff for "whipping" the ends of cordage.
