Before you spend big bucks!!!! Replace all of the "O" rings in the entire hose connection system, use refrigeration oil to lube them as you install them. Don't over tighten them, one full turn after contact resistance is almost too much.

Take your time on evacuating the system, 12 hours or more is best. You're removing both air and moisture. Don't blow the system out with compressed air, you're just adding moisture.

To get the right amount of refrigeration oil into your system you can use a turkey baster and put it in the filter/dryer before you install it. The more oil, the less refrigerant so don't add extra oil as insurance, it just doesn't help anything.
