Hi Pat, napa has Valvoline gl4 in a 5 gallon can. Here is some info from their web site. I also use it in my 1951 ford 8n tractor. Valvoline® Hydro_Lube Gear Lube

Satisfies the warranty requirements of Volkswagen synchromesh mechanisms in both manual shift and automatic stick shift transmissions. Also recommended for the transmission, final drives and hydraulic systems of some Ford tractors. API service GL-3 and GL-4.
