erm...that would be Temp II. The one with the single terminal drives the temp gauge, no effect on operation. If TII is open you will be running very very rich...

Loosen and rotate the distributor -- clockwise retards, anticlockwise advances.

No chain. No belt. Camshaft is geardriven from crankshaft, operates valves through hydraulic lifters, pushrods, rocker arms.
