I run a video production company in Hawaii and do my VHS duplication in LA... because of the high cost of air freight, we have always ordered well in advance and shipped by boat (takes a couple weeks, LA to Hilo). Pickup was at the harbor here. When I had my 88 Wolfie I had a photographer's platform on top. Pulled the jump seats out, flattened the bed and completely filled the interior with boxes... 62 of em... and another 18 on the roof! Total weight... about 2500 pounds by my calculations... If you don't count the roof, about 1875 pounds inside. Yikes. Fortunately only had to go about five miles.
