I don't know Chris personally, but I do know of him and I know of his
reputation. If you had read his posts, you'd know that he does NOT run a
business, but rather, dismantles vans and sells parts to list members and
other VW enthusiasts at a minimal (if any) markup.
You are asking for him to increase both his overhead (unless he already has
a digicam for shooting pictures of Little League, etc.) and his labor
(considerably).
If you don't trust him, buy new, or perhaps from eBay, where sellers usually
DO include photos. If you do trust him, quit ragging on him.
Lastly, most problems with parts won't show up on a digital photo, unless of
course, you are asking him to become a highly skilled forensic photographer
to better protect you from his wily underhanded business practices.
Sorry to rant, but I've gotten really, really tired of this thread.
Anyone want to trash Wilford or BD for a change?
