I'd have to say, my 82 diesel westy has been surprisingly reliable. I bought it almost 4 years ago with 120K on it. I've since put 60 K more on it, including a trip to central america (see my website at www.home.earthlink.net/~keather). the engine was tired when I bought it because the previous owner used SJ formulated motor oil instead of diesel grade motor oil, so last year I spent $2000 on a rebuild, replaced the muffler, clutch, water pump, oil pump at the same time. Other than that, tires, oil and filters. nada mas - nothing else. Its slow as molasses in Winnipeg in January, (you listening Marshall, I grew up there), but reliable as death and taxes - knock on wood. -- ______________________________________________________________________________ Kevin Chances that the taxes of a low-income working family will have NOT its taxes reduced by the Bush tax cut plan: 3 in 5 Federal income taxes paid by Pepsi in 1999: $0.00 Amount by which federal taxes paid in states exceeded federal spending, per capita, in states carried by Al Gore in 2000: $685 Amount by which federal spending exceeded federal taxes paid, per capita, in states carried by George W.
