Subject:      Starting problem
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

Hello Volks, The other day after I fixed my tail lights, I ripped out the heat system from underneath the van. All the hoses, flap boxes, and cables were all junk. The heat booster looks like it is alright, but I never had it running so I don't know if it is working and the heat boxes are in good shape too. I took it out so it doesn't get ruined while I drive around until I can afford to put the system back in. Back to the problem, it now hesitates to start. I usually have to tap the gas pedal quickly and then it will start. To me it sounds like a cold start valve problem, but I just recently changed it and the problem started immediately after I took out everything. The wiring for the heat system is still in, I just taped up all the ends and stuffed it into the heater hose that runs over the gas tank and into the dash until I can get it out without ruining it.. Could it be because I disconnected everything? I also put in a new section of fuel line right before the fuel pump where the T to the heat booster was connected. Also, does anyone know where I can get a set of straight pipes to put in place of the heat boxes? I want to get them off the van too before they get ruined. Thanks everyone. Eggz
