I haven't used the Boge kit, but I have tried a few ways to lower the Vanagon. My caution would be to confirm that the Boge kit is capable of handling the weight of a Westy. I kind of doubt that it is. If the springs and shocks are ovewhelmed by the van's weight, you'll create a nightmare. Bottoming out, banging, wallowing, porpoising...no fun at all.
