My customers do not have any problems using the stock Vanagon pump for their CIS, CIS-E, Digifant II or Motronic engine conversions. The vanagon pump can produce over 100 PSI if it needs to and it can deliver over 2L of fuel a minutes which is more than enough for any engine you *should* stuff back there.
