Hey wait for me!!! I missed the whole thread about the biggest/heaviest loads, but I feel compelled to share! Check out the link to see a pic of the ancient hand-cranked Wisconsin Model T-E engine and massive Denver-Gardner compressor - mounted on a metal skid - that I hauled home. The guy I bought it from loaded it in the side door chained in the bucket of a front-end loader, and I had to use a come-along and chain to drag it out, down the ramp, and onto the wooden sled that it now calls home. That's a whole lotta cast iron! http://y42.photos.yahoo.com/bc/yarmovar/vwp?.dir=/Vanagon&.dnm=1.jpg Cheers! > Doug Fitz-Randolph > Freeport, ME > '90 Syncro > > |
