Don, a fellow traveler I met in Mexico, needs a new or rebuilt engine for his 1981 Westy. Don lives in BC, right on the border of the Alaska panhandle, & has no computer or email facilities. He's a very cool guy who, besides driving alone all the way to Mexico in his '81 Westy, owns, & single handed, operates a little sawmill with 50 year old equipment! I promised I'd consult the list for advice re what he might do about rebuilding/replacing his engine. Boston Bob seems to be the hands down favorite with this list. I have copied various posts for him re beating Customs at their duty game & made note of various shipping options. Since Don's got no email/computer, anybody have an address or phone # for Boston Bob? Any other pertinent suggestions re his engine project gratefully accepted, thanks. Cheers, Phaedra |
