Mom's and Dad's--Boy's and Girl's,

I remember prior to installing the Air Lift's in my van, searching, fitting, swearing, etc. in the quest to install air assisted Gabriel air shocks in the rear of my van for towing.

Now with the coming of the new baby, (Clementine) my search for air assisted rear shocks are on, because air bags won't work.( no clearance )

So I've been sniffing around at the T-2 list archives, and lo-and behold, they have found an air shock that fits, with the addition of a longer top bolt and spacers!!

So, I am going to order these shocks, and prior to installing them on baby Clementine, I am going to see if this concept its at all possible for the Vanagon.

Not that I need them on my GL, but it just offers another option, besides the air bags.

Later,
