To activate the rear wiper and washer, push the control stalk away from you and allow it to return (it's spring loaded). The washer will run as long as you have the stalk pushed, and the wiper will cycle a few times. It will continue to cycle once every fifteen seconds or so until either you push the stalk again or you turn off the ignition.
