If I were Chris, I would tell you all to take a fly run at a rolling donut. You all get your sorry asses out there, lay in the mud at the local pick-yer-part (if you can find one with a decent westy or vanilla vanagon) and pull yer own damn parts. I know from my life, I don't have time to go scavanging (even though it's one of my favorite things to do). Hell, I don't have time to maintain what I have in the driveway. I don't have time to rebuild the 2.0 in the westy or the WB in the storage area. This guy pulls apart crap for YOU, sells it cheep to YOU. Makes a few bucks, probably saves some of the cream off the top for his own vans... eats up his free time...

And you're bitching?

Don't buy from him, set his address in your "route to trashcan" filters and drop the subject from the list!

I suspect you need to hold the true vendors to a high standard, but this guy does it as a hobby to help YOU. And what does he get? A load of crap! Damn!

tim (sitting on the sideline for as long as he could) o'brien
