Subject: chilton non-book (crank seals?)

hey all, sorry to bug ya' all again buuut, seems my little non-bentley non-book does not cover the way the "things" that go on the ends of the crank are assembled. I'm talking about the two seals, the shims, the one little steel washer and o-ring that go on the front, whatever else. If anyone has a diagram I could really use a descrip of the order in which these things go together. I'm pretty sure I can surmise, but I'd hate to guess and get it wrong.

boy, WHAT A HASSLE! this thing is really a little monster to put together. sticking those wrist pins in place is real a test of ones faith. it did not help that my "instructor" told me not to bother heating the pistons up a bit (I did freeze the pins). That number 4 piston is really a bi-you-know-what. I finally did heat the piston up a bit and found I should have done that with all of them, they slide right in then.

Post traumatically yours, mark...
